Throwback Thursday: Princess Madeleine's birth

On June 10, 1982 Silvia, Queen of Sweden gives birth to her third and youngest daughter, Madeleine Therese Amelie Josephine Bernadotte, Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland.

Princess Madeleine was baptized on 31 August 1982 in the Royal Chapel.
 Her godparents are Andreas, Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, her maternal grandfather Walther Sommerlath, her father’s paternal cousin Princess Benedikte of Denmark, and her paternal aunt Princess Christina, Mrs. Magnuson.

The joy was immense... Another member of one of the most beautiful European Royal families!
