After her maternity leave, the Duchess of Cambridge is back to work! Finally last week we got to see her with a surprise appearance while on her way to the Sunday service at Balmoral and two official engagements.
And surprise ..... a new hairstyle, well ... if we want to be honest is not quite new, already other times Kate showed off different lengths of her bangs; before the announcement of her first pregnancy the Duchess gave a cut to her fringe.
I never particularly loved the fringe, except for a brief period of my life ...... In a moment of madness and delirium post Brenda Walsh I cut my fringe ..... since then .. .. NEVER MORE!!!
She looked so charming with her fringe ....... I looked like a Yorkshire Terrier after a bad day!
All readers who exceed 30 years old know what i'm talking about!
Back to our Duchess ... after her last appearances there have been different opinions, I have always been in love with Kate's hair but the new fringe, really don't like it!
And you? Be honest, do you prefer the new or the old version of our Kate?

Royal Tour of the week - September 20
This week, King and Queen of Spain were on an official visit in the US, The tour began the day of the Queen's birthday with a visit to the house and the tomb of the first President, George Washington.
Letizia wore a dress with black and white prints by Felipe Varela coupled with a tight white jacket that seemed drawn on her body. Prada shoes and .... recalling the Jackie Kennedy's style, Letizia wore a bag Hugo Boss
Day 2 - Queen of Spain visits a National Cancer Institute
Queen of Spain visits a National Cancer Institute, while King of Spain’s speech at a breakfast with US business leaders in Washington. For Letizia total look by Hugo Boss and shoes Magrit.
We have already seen this dress on Letizia several times.
Ohhh! Ok, finally something to talk about! The evening of the second day The King and Queen of Spain visited Georgetown University
Letizia with a dress by 'the inevitable' Felipe Varela, tulle with beautiful and large embroideries with floral pattern. I really like it, is not the first time that Letizia wearing clothes similar to this, and each time i like it! Shoes by Prada.
Important note, the earrings ...... do you think the Queens wear only gold jewelry, diamonds and precious stones ??? No way! Queen Letizia for this occasion wore earrings by MANGO £ 9.90! Still available on Mango USA and Mango UK.
And then don't say that only Kate wearing jewelery low cost! :)
Day 3 - Florida
The Royal couple visited the Miami-Dade College Presidential Medal presentation at the Freedom Tower.
Straight from Downton Abbey! If the Queen is or is not a fan of the series we don't know, but she seems to be the modern version, with this beautiful dress (Felipe Varela). Letizia also wore a coat with pailletes on the sleeves.
I love the color and the pillettes ... although maybe this look may be a bit too sparkling for the occasion.
Only criticism for this look: I think the skirt is too short! Even the hair and makeup were clearly inspired by the 20s.
During the evening college President Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón presented King Felipe with the Presidential Medal, the College's highest distinction.
Day 4 - Florida, last day
Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI of Spain visit Castillo San Marcos during the 450th Saint Agustine anniversary.
To her last day in America Letizia repeated an autfit already seen during her visit to France, and during the visit to Spain of the Italian president Sergio Mattarella
Shoes and skirt with floral print by Carolina Herrera, earrings by Tous
In their last official engagement Felipe and Letizia inaugurated the Forum of the US-Spain Council.
The cocktail dress by Felipe Varela, it's silk and embellished with Swarovski crystals in five different shades, which create a gradient effect tone.
What is your favorite autfit?

In the evening, King Felipe & Queen Letizia attend a meeting with the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee in Washington, DC.
The first evening look of the Queen, although very elegant, not particularly impressed me. The black Tweed is by Nina Ricci.
Instead i liked her diamond chandelier earrings, and her hairdo! I love it!Day 2 - Queen of Spain visits a National Cancer Institute

Opening of Parliament - Sweden & Netherlands
Yesterday, (almost simultaneously) the opening of parliament in Sweden and the Netherlands.
As always in the Netherlands everything went great fanfare, with gold carriages and anything else ....
.... And we love it! Queen Maxima did not disappoint my expectations, she was absolutely fabulous! Her dress is by Jan Taminiau, the same designer who created the beautiful blue dress the queen wore to the coronation.
This dress, silk organza, was painted by hand and to accentuate the design has been applied different types of embroidery and beading.
But the real peculiarity of this dress is that it was inspired by the Japanese room in the palace Huis ten Bosch
You would imagine to have a dress inspired your living room!? No, if you are not a Queen :)
This year no hat on the Royal head but a lovely clasp with flowers (adorable!)
The day ended with a brief appearance from the balcony
Meanwhile in Sweden ...
Princess Victoria wore the same jacket by Milly, she wore it also at the opening of parliament in 2011, when she was pregnant with Estelle
The hair... with the usual hairdo and a headpiece with butterflies (?)
Princess Madeleine and Princess Sofia
No, you don't see double.... Madeleine and Sophia was dressed like two little twins;). Actually, the dress code provided for the Black and White ... but .... a little imagination girls! Despite everything, both were beautiful and very elegant. The jacket and the dress worn by Madeleine was by Paule Ka
The delightful hat worn by Madeleine seems to be by Philip Treacy.
Princess Sofia wore Maje Magistral Short Cardigan. The garment retails for $570.00 on the Maje website.
Queen Silvia
Queen Silvia very chic with a black coat, felt hat and white pearl necklace and earrings. The first part of the day ended with a speech by the king were in the State Hall
Queen Silvia wore an elegant blue velvet coat, Crown Princess Victoria wore a dress by Adrianna Papell which looks like the short version of the gown she wore a few weeks ago for the official dinner at the palace, immediately after it has been given the announcement of her second pregnancy. (But they were not made by the same designer). Shoes by Ralph Louren.
Once again the designers of the dress worn by Princess Sofia are still unknown, the shoes are known to be by Jimmy Choo and the cape is by Viktoria Chan (thanks Sara W on Twitter)

Event of the week & New engagements coming - September 13
A great week has just passed! With some beautiful and important events!
- The largest and most celebrated: Queen Elizabeth II becomes the longest reigning british monarch, surpassing the reign of Queen Victoria. (Covered HERE)
- Prince Harry (to our delight) is back in London and has released a video Which praises the All Schools program, Which has now Introduced to rugby were 400 secondary schools.
It were also marked some new appointments on his agenda:
- On September 17th Prince Harry will attend the Rugby World Cup Official Welcome Party, hosted by the RFU at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
- On September 18th together with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry will attend the opening ceremony and match at Twickenham. (Calm your hormones girls!)
--- In Sweden two Princesses were in the spotlight: Crown Princess Victoria, who made the announcement of her second pregnancy (and much desired by us "Royal watchers") and Princess Sofia, wife of Prince Carl Philip, who this week was in South Africa for her first solo official trip. We have covered the event Here.
- New engagements were also added to the agenda of the Duchess Of Cambridge:
- On september 17, The Duchess to visit the Anna Freud Centre to see Their work in children's mental health care.
- On september 18, together with The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry she will attend the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup in Twickenhamon
- On September 21, The Duke of Cambridge will visit Hammersmith Academy to support the The Diana Award for #Back2School's Anti-Bullying Campaign.
- A royal heirs generation meeting to conclude this week!
This weekend, Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette Marit have organized a meeting with other young European royal.
For the occasion were invited Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark Princess Mary and Their children, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden with her daughter, Princess Estelle, and The Hereditary Grand Duke and Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg.
The meeting took place at the Norwegian royal summer residence on the island of Tjøme.
It is not the first time that the heirs to the European thrones meet, last time we were delighted with a photo group was in 2013 just before the coronation of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands
Since then, three of them were crowned: Prince Willem Alexander (now King of the Netherlands), Prince Albert (now King of Belgium) and Prince Felipe (now King of Spain).
Could this mean that soon there will be a new coronation? Doubtful .... King Carl Gustaf of Sweden and the Grand Duke of Luxembourg in my opinion are too young to abdicate, Margrethe (as my friend Lourdes from Tesouras & Tiaras says) is like Queen Elizabeth II: "Until death"!
And King Harald of Norway ??? ...... :)
However, is always great to see their sincere reciprocal friendship!

Maxima or Charlene - Who wore it better?
Last night the joyful Queen opened a new season of concerts. Beautiful and radiant as always, wore a one-shoulder red suit that made her extremely radiant .....
But, wait a minute .... we have already seen this jumpsuit somewhere?
Effectively yes! As some readers have pointed out Princess Charlene of Monaco wore the same suit to the Red Cross Ball on July 25 of this year.
Sacrilege?!?!?! No, in fact there is nothing strange to wear the same dress is important not to be together at the same event! This would be terrible for us mere mortals ..... imagine for a Queen?!?!?
Princess Charlene used the scarf as a bow on the shoulder (I prefer!) And small diamond earrings. Instead Queen Maxima used the scarf around his neck and big earrings diamonds and rubies (which is more her style). The suit is Valentino, from the Resort 2015 collection
I really like both but I prefer the bow on the shoulder of the Princess Charlene. What do you think? Who wore it better?

Queen Elizabeth II becomes the longest reigning monarch in British history
Yesterday a historic day! In fact we're talking about for weeks, On September 9, 2015 Queen Elizabeth has become the longest reigning Britain passing the record of Queen Victoria.
Buckingham Palace has calculated that Queen Victoria reigned for 23,226 days, 16 hours and 23 minutes, taking into account 63 years, 15 leap days and the precise timings of her accession and death.
But for the Queen it was a day like any other; Elizabeth II will marked the milestone by travelling on a train drawn by the steam locomotive Union of South Africa from Waverley Station in Edinburgh with Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Global Child Forum 2015 - Princess Sofia's first time
Even her time has come,Princess Sofia yesterday was her first solo official trip. She was in South Africa to participate in the Global Child Forum.
The Forum brought together in Pretoria participants from 15 countries in southern Africa, and among them were representatives of governments, industry, civil society and academia.
Global Child Forum is an independent global platform gathering world leading stakeholders for discussions and knowledge sharing in regards to children’s rights.
This forum was started by the King and Queen of Sweden in 2009 and it is the first time that the conference is held in South Africa.
Tuesday, September 8, Sofia was in the Global Child Forum in Pretoria.
The focus of this Forum was on the creation of partnerships and sustainability to protect the rights of children in South Africa.
"As long as children suffer, we have work to do!...."
"There are still clear violations of the rights of the child and it's important to engage all sectors of the society, including governments, businesses, the civil society and don't forget the local NGO's and children themselves. And the main challenge is that all sectors think and work differently, that's why it's crucial to gather everyone and take actions together....."
"I think that everybody can contribute in their own way and do something,...."
"And I will end my speech with a question to all of you: What action can you do as a professional and as a person to make a positive impact on a child’s life?"

"Despite the daily reports on disasters around the world, I think that at the same time so much good is already done. I think it is important to mention that we are on the right path. Democracy is spreading and poverty is reducing....."
"Every time a child is suffering, we have a responsibility to make a difference....""And I will end my speech with a question to all of you: What action can you do as a professional and as a person to make a positive impact on a child’s life?"
- Princess Sofia at the Global Child Forum in South Africa
You can read the entire text of the speech in English HERE
Before she joined the royal family, Sofia was volunteered in South Africa, Senegal and Ghana, she founded children's charity the Project Playground.
Prince Carl Philip has been involved with Project Playground since its founding and was a member of the board between 2010 and 2015. Today Sofia is Honorary Chairperson of the board.
The charity, which she established with a friend, aims to support underprivileged children in South Africa by providing meals, counsel and recreational activities such as football and weekends away.
Sofia worked as the charity's secretary general until April of this year, just two months before she tied the knot with Carl Philip in a spectacular royal wedding.
Princess Sofia's older sister Lina still works as a project coordinator.

The photo of the week and the great commitment of two Queens for Children's Rights
Most of us have seen the (sadly famous) photos that has shaken the sleeping conscience of the world.
But actually we have always thought it was something away from us .... but a picture has awakened us! That little body reminded us how close and real is this tragedy.
Some of our Royals expressed their grief over the affair. Queen Silvia of Sweden said in an interview '' ..... suddenly see the image of the three year old child ... It goes straight to the heart '.
Also Princess Mabel has posted something on her twitter profile.
Since many year Queen Rania is actively support of UNICEF, she was named as UNICEF’s first ever Eminent Advocate for Children on 26 January 2007, at the World Economic Forum in Davos,.
We can look this tragedy through the children's eyes with a post published by the Queen of Jordan
During the 2008 conflict in Gaza Her Majesty said "our humanity is incomplete when children, irrespective of nationality, are victims of military operations."
The Queen has embarked on a personal mission to enhance the quality of life for children. As president of the National Council for Family Affairs, she championed the National Plan of Action for Children (NPA), which aims at enhancing the quality of life for children by ensuring healthcare, basic education and protection from abuse, exploitation and violence. I feel very close to her in this endeavor,
"School is a place of learning and opportunity, a sanctuary for healing and health, and a haven of normalcy and hope for the future. Education not only increases the chances that, someday, children will be able to support themselves and seek a better life for their families; it also provides them with the skills to rebuild their societies. And it can instill in them a desire to seek reconciliation when the conflicts have been resolved and the catastrophes have ended."- Anthony Lake, UNICEF Executive Director - July 3, 2015
But unfortunately, more than 13 million children are not going to school due to conflicts in the region.
Conflicts wipe out years of investment and achievements in education and can cripple the development of education systems. In countries like Syria, the conflict has reversed more than two decades of expansion of access to education.
"I have seen children trying to write on the ground
because they want to learn so much."-Jameela, head teacher in a school in Sa’ada, northern Yemen.
People often ask me why i am a Royal fan, here's the answer: It's not just fashion, jewelry and gala dinners, despite their privileged position these people make a hard and constant work to keep attention focused on important issues that often we forget .

This picture has put us in front of the sad truth that for too long we have not wanted to see, for years we talk about refugees, war victims, homeless children, without schools or worse orphaned by the war.But actually we have always thought it was something away from us .... but a picture has awakened us! The Queen founded in 1999 Childhood Foundation which is also supported by Princess Madeleine of Sweden.
The purpose of the foundation is to improve the plight of children around the world. World Childhood Foundation works to prevent abuse and exploitation of children. They support over 100 projects around the world, assisting children who are at risk of or are victims of abuse, children who are in alternative care, street children, and families at risk. (Video)

The summer ends .... a new Royal year begins!
I'm back! Did you hear my absence?
Holiday ended unfortunately. I slowly return to my normal routine! Have been regenerating weeks ..... but in the meantime what happened? Not much really .... because most Royals were on vacation.
It is planning a New Tour to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2016, the article reports that possibly Prince George and Princess Charlotte might follow the parents in this new tour .... but of course there is no confirmation yet and personally seems to me a little improbable.
On September 9 Queen Elizabeth II will pass the record set by her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria. The Queen will be Britain's longest-serving monarch in history.
Throughout this special days we will publish news, photos and historical videos about the life of this great Queen!

- Great success for the first official tour of the Prince Carl Phillip and Princess Sofia, the couple arrived in Varmland by train and stayed there for two days. A great debut for the Princess Sofia which seems to increase her popularity every day!
But their commitments are not finished because on their return they took part, along with Queen Silvia, at the opening of "The Lillian Look", an exhibition on the style of Princess Lilian.
