Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist Wedding Part III: Royal Guests Fashion

Since red is my favorite color I will start by

Queen Margrethe of Denmark
She wore the red dress that had worn for the party of her 75th birthday and The Baden Palmette Tiara, perfect for a wedding, the tiara is composed of a pattern of small diamond hearts and flowers at the base with yellow stone in the center.

Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik
I really like the dress worn by Mary (as always).
I love this color and the large embroidery at the center of the dress makes it precious, she wore her wedding tiara and earrings (that she wore at her wedding too) and pearl bracelets - For the Swedish wedding the tiara were added the pearls.
Beautiful hairstyle, embellished with a jewel in the hairdo, although with a tuft so crushed on the face I would have risked having a nervous breakdown before the end of the evening!

Princess Marie of Denmark
Absolutely beautiful the color of this dress by Alberta Ferretti, her Diamond Tiara Floral and Jimmy Choo shoes (I'm not entirely sure about this but I think I have already seen these shoes on Marie).

Queen Sonja of Norway
Perhaps the Queen Sonja was afraid to go unnoticed .... so she decided to get spotted even from the space!  ...  she has previously worn this dress... and each time it's more and more horrible. To save the look (not much) Queen Maud's Pearl and Diamond Tiara

Princess Mette Marit of Norway
I have not yet figured out if I like this outfit.  I think I really like her skirt, a little less the top. The Tiara is always the same: The Diamond Tiara Daisy, beautiful earrings diamond, the back is removable, in fact, the Princess has worn them in various combinations.

In the hair Mette had two jewels that I later discovered (Thanks to Michel Berganini) they are two earrings.

Princess Martha Loiuse
Very nice dress, she wore The King Olav Gift Tiara and a pair of beautiful earrings (which I love)

Earrings from HiD - a norwegian jewellery designer.

Princess Hisako Takamado
She has stunning embroidery on her dress! Beautiful jewels and a particular brooch

Sophie, Countess of Wessex
Sofia's dress is a gift she received during her recent trip to Prague, very beautiful and elegant in its simplicity. Really wonderful choice of jewel The Aquamarine Wessex Tiara that was a wedding gift from Prince Edward.

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands
To me she was the "perfection".   Perfect dress, the same worn the inauguration dinner of King Willem Alexander, by Jan Taminiau ( I love it!) Perfect "Mellerio Ruby Parure" a combination of rubies and diamonds to make your head spin! Even her hairdo in my opinion was very nice, Maxima looked out of a painting of '900 ... absolutely wonderful!

Queen Mathilde of Belgium
Very lovely color of her dress with a soft line and embellished by Diamond Brooch Pampille belonged to the Queen Fabiola and her Nine Provinces Tiara

Princess Tatiana of Greece
Tatiana has chosen a dress for Celia Kritharioti with applications and stones that seem to form rhombus on the skirt, very nice. Her tiara is still unknown, perhaps a new or borrowed for the occasion, not too big, delicate and cute. Very beautiful her earrings, three drops with central diamond.

Marie Hellqvist
She is not a Royal,  Marie is mother of the bride, the new Princess of Sweden, Sofia Hellqvist.
Ms. Marie looks very stylish with her outfit, I love this color, very beautiful the  lace top with applications.

If i was in her place, however, I would have made a quick jump in a hairdresser!

That's all friends! And you? What was your favorite? I wait for your opinions !!

Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist Wedding

Ah yes, another golden bachelor was caught!
Prince Carl Philip and Sofia celebrated their wedding in Stockholm.  Much to comment so I don't waste time.

The couple so in love that I was moved a few times ... We already knew that the couple is outside the box, but today we had the confirmation ... how many of you would come out of the church with the musical background (not too "background") "The Hymn of Joy / Joyful, Joyful, We adore you"? Wonderful! ... Umbrella in Swedish? .... I love them!

Sofia's dress ...nothing exceptional in my opinion, a pattern already seen, it reminds me a certain English Duchess ...  often we have seen that Sofia's look is similar to that of the Duchess of Cambridge.
However it is still a beautiful wedding dress, very classic with lace sleeves, embroidered lace on the skirt and also on the train, by Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt.
Sofia has respected tradition wearing a sprig of myrtle in the hair and in the Bouquet.
Many of us, including me thought that the tattoo of Sofia would remain hidden ... but it was there and you could see

The news, instead, a beautiful tiara, wedding gift from King Carl gustaf and Queen Silvia, with diamonds and emeralds. I like it a lot! I imagined that she would have her own tiara, and this seems perfect for her.

Among the bridesmaids... the sweet Princess Estelle ... They worn clothes in pure silk and organza by Ida Sjöstedt too

Best moment, as usual the speeches, Prince Carl Philip received a standing ovation with his speech which you can find here

Sofia wrote the words of a song that was performed by a singer during the wedding reception:
"All I am, all I have. Until my last breath I will love you... All I have. All I want is to wake up close to you..."
"To be allowed to love you for all my days, with everything I have"

Finally cutting the cake! Almost a sculpture, very special and unconventional as the bride and groom would say ...

The evening ended with the traditional first dance of the newlyweds, Carl Philip and Sofia have opened the dance and then they invited all the other guests to join them

The song choice for the first dance

The party continued until 5:30 am. Sofia (now Princess of Sweden) changed dresses, it seems very nice!

If you missed the ceremony and want to see it again, you can do it here with the entire ceremony

And here are the highlights of the day

A long and busy day!
I'm dead now! I will speak of the guests and their look later. :)

Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist Pre-Wedding Dinner

Here I am! We are only at the pre-wedding dinner and we already have so much to say!
What you say,  can we begin from the star of the evening?

                                   Sofia Hellqvist

Sofia was absolutely amazing! The blue dress with wide neckline behind and applications and crystals is by Zuhair Murad, from spring 2015.
The dress also includes a tail attached at waist level.  It can be removable. Amazing!

The best surprise ... Princess Madeleine

What can i say? Madeleine looks absolutely fabulous!  With a Maternity dress, Open Back, very elegant, I loved her hairstyle too... Super chic!

                                            Princess Victoria

Dress beautiful no doubt about it .... but it seems a little off, perhaps it would be better another color. Victoria wore a brooch in the hair as she did for Queen Margrethe Birthday dinner

Queen Silvia
Please someone tell me where you have hidden the true Queen Silvia! What happened? where are her wonderful evening dresses? No... really!

 From Norway with Love

Among the guests of the evening: the Princess Mette Marit and Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Märtha Louise accompanied by her husband Ari Behn. Mette Marit wore the same dress worn for Queen Margrethe's birthday dinner, so we could finally see it in its entirety.

Princess Märtha Louise opted for a very elegant powder dress, while Ari added a sash to his tux, but I still have not understood the meaning of this thing!

A special mention

The Parents of Sofia, Radiants ..... and how not to be?

And an award at the most braver look .... and I do not add more!

We are only just starting this special weekend! Tomorrow we will have the big day!

Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist have decided to use the song “Sofias brudvals” of Per Bredhammar as their wedding waltz.
A dance teacher has prepared a routine for the prince pair and it is quite difficult because it is a very slow song.

The couple will probably be joined by their parents on the dance floor.

-Where to watch live
You can watch the ceremony and reception on SVT. Broadcasting will start at 3 pm (15:00) Stockholm time.  If for some reason the video is blocked in your country, you can download Hola to have access to the livestream.
You can figure out what time the wedding starts in your timezone here.

-About Wedding Dress and Tiara
We do not know if Sofia chooses to wear a tiara of the royal family or a new tiara, could be a wonderful wedding present! She could also opt for a jewel in the hair (But I would not do it!!).
It would be nice to see the Lilian's Laurel Wreath Tiara belonged to Princess Lilian and that she left to Victoria.
The spouses have inherited the house where lived the Princess Lilian and her husband, Prince Bertil and they will live there after the wedding, it would be a nice way to remember the uncles.

For her wedding dress -  rumors chase and so it's difficult to predict.
For her appearance at the pre wedding dinner and then for the wedding of Princess Madeleine, Sofia has chosen Swedish designers.
On December last year, for her first appearance at the Nobel Prize, Sofia chosen a beautiful dress by the Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt, one of the popular names as a likely choice for the wedding gown.

But Sofia is not obliged to turn to a Swedish label, in fact some voices suggested also the designer Valentino who also designed the beautiful wedding dress of Princess Madeleine.

Happy Royal Wedding to all!! <3
